I am so bad with this sort of stuff…were having our wedding at a church and the reception at the fire hall banquet hall area. all the tables, napkins, etc are white (not my choice, its from catering) the colors for the wedding party is dark blue. how should i get flowers? where should i put them? do you put them up at the actual wedding too? on the tables at the reception? since its at a fire hall i don’t really know where i would go to get decorations for the tables and such. I feel so lost i just want it to look nice. any ideas of budget things? im the first of my friends/family to get married so im kind of at a lost (also have been to few weddings)

Im after some ideas for my top table decoration. I have 15 tables of 10 people and then the top table. On the tables i have bought square vases that i am having just pink roses in. My colour scheme is white, pink and silver. I dont want a flower display on my table so does anyone have any suggestions for something different?
Nice girl for advice…………………go play in the road!

I am already decorating the tables with antique green bottles and pink depression glass vases filled with pink and white w/green flowers. Peonies are my favorite but may add others. I need other ideas. The wedding is in a tent at my fiances parents house which is a large 200 year old victorian home with lush gardens all around. Thanks for your input!!

I am getting married next June. My mom has a huge garden with tons of flowers, magenta, pink and white peonies, white daisies, yellow lilies, purple irises and some others. I was wondering if it would be okay to use these garden flowers for all of my flowers for my wedding (tables, decorations, corsages, bouquets etc). We are having about 200 people. I thought it would look nice to have the accent color (s) be pale yellow or green, which look great with the flowers- whatever combination I use.
It is hard to have a wedding on a budget, especially with 200 people, but I was thinking this would be a clever way to save some money.
What do you think?
I hope these links work (to get a idea of color scheme):
