I had to send back the first set of chairs--they had splits in the legs. Target sent me new ones immediately. When I moved the table, a few of the side pieces came off. I have big teenager boys and they might have leaned back in one of the chairs, but the metal on the side bent and I had trouble closing the chair. I intend to use them only occasionally, so they should be fine. Probably best for adult use. I don't think they're very equipped for a large (heavy) person.
