I really love the look of fuschia at weddings. But, I like the decorative look of pink and brown and may use that at my wedding, I was thinking light pink, fuschia and ivory flowers with fuschia dresses but it may be strange because everything inside the reception would be more of a chocolate and lighter pink.
I am not sure I like the idea of brown bridesmaid dresses. Any suggestions on how to incorporate all of these somehow, with fuschia? Problem is, I do not love fuschia and brown as much as light pink and brown from what I have seen.
Decorations consist of: White chair covers, brown table runners, pink flowers in the middle (with a few ivory), brown satin chair sash with possibly a light pink organza sash over that to give a 2-D look with 2 colors.
Thanks!
I am not sure I like light pink bridesmaid dresses. It seems very “old school” I guess?.. I may warm up to the idea.

Hello I am a wedding consultant and I would suggest using a fuchsia dress for you MOH and then having all of your other Bridesmaids in a softer pink. Have your MOH’s bouquet be more white with Chocolate details on the stems (like a ribbon) and then with your bridesmaids bouquets have them with more of a brighter pink. As for tables! I love the idea of a 2-D look. But I would suggest having a table with Fuchsia ribbons over the chocolate and then another table with the softer pink. All of these colors are relay great because they are all in the same color family (the pink and Fuchsia that is) So use brown as a base and The pinks as your pops of color.

I think I’ve seen light pink & brown together at the reception so why wouldn’t you have the bridesmaids wear light pink? If you like fuschia at weddings, why not make it an “accent” color at the reception? Perhaps with a couple of flowers in the centerpieces or something like that so it doesn’t stand out and look like a different layout from your color scheme. Just an idea…
I’d change chair bows to fuchsia over the brown, leave table runners brown and make flower arrangements pink ,fuchsia & ivory. I also think a light pink sash might look nice on your bridal parties fuchsia dresses. Guess that depends on the style of dress. On the chair bows I’d go with organza, not satin. Satin doesn’t like to stay tied, and organza you can tie tight enough it stays well. For my daughter’s reception we are using both satin & organza tied together and the organza is holding our mock up one just fine. What color flowers are you carrying? If you’re are fuchsia, I’d have bridal party carry ivory.
Congrats and good luck!
You don’t have to match your colors to the reception hall. Although all those colors seems good, but I would an ivory chair cover other than white.

I like the idea of a fuschia MOH dress and then maybe a lighter pink dress for your bridesmaids. You don’t necessarily have to go with a pale pink because a softer shade of fuschia looks really nice with chocolate. I’ve also seen chocolate dresses with pink sashes and that looked nice too, or you could do pink with chocolate sash.
I would suggest to go look for dresses before you get set on colors because you may not be able to find the styles you want in the specific color, keep your options open until you find the perfect dresses!
Good luck!
