We are replacing our dining room set with one that has a glass top. We have a 2 year old son and that is where our concern lies. Does anyone have a small child in the house with a glass top table? The one we are looking at has very thick glass; it takes both my husband and me to lift it.
What is your experience with glass top dining tables and children?
When I bought the table I did not realise the problem I would have finding similar furniture for the dining room. All that I have seen is a bent glass console table but I really could do with a bit of storage – like a sideboard type of thing. If anyone has seen anything that might do the trick I would love to know!! I would even consider something in light wood with glass doors or top and I could accessorise with chrome – please help!!
