Summer was drawing to a close so i knew time was running out as far as completing any outdoor projects was concerned. My wife has been pestering me about building a kids picnic table since the turn of the year. Because I’m not a DIY kind of person, i got hold of a set of plans which have been hidden away in the tool shed at the bottom of the garden, maybe i was hoping they would just wither away.
The thought of kids tables and chairs takes me back to when I was a youngster and my dad brought me home a table all for myself. It was my size and I thought it wonderful, but I had no chair to sit at. My dad made me that chair and I remember them both to this day.
