The table I received had marks and gouges on the back side. Since I am using it against a wall the marks are not as visible. It is packaged well but with so many pieces of Styrofoam in the box once I had realized that there were issues with the finish it would have been a real pain to put it back in the package and return it.
One other issue is that some of the screw holes barely lined up so putting it together was not as easy as I had expected.
This table is very cheaply made and very poor quality. I would not recommend it to anyone. It scratches and dents so easily, there is no functional use for it. From sitting the remote on the top, there are several dents. All of the finish has rubbed off around the edges from our legs touching it and the right side top is completely finish free from my MacBook sitting on it. A complete piece of crap.
This product is very low quality. It scratches easily and is difficult to put together properly. We also ordered the end table and one board arrived broken in half. After 2 weeks calling the manufacturer for a replacement, the new board arrived 2 weeks after that. Then to top off having to wait 4 weeks for a replacement, the holes on the replacement board didn’t match the other boards and now three weeks later we still don’t have the right piece. Not to mention, the top part of the end table arrived with numerous scratches. Total junk. I would not recommend this furniture to anyone…not even a college student…unless they need firewood to keep warm…
